Crow is a multidisciplinary art and storytelling company whose work can be encountered through a variety of forms including performance, film, music, and immersive experiences. Established in 2015 by director/designer Nayantara Kotian and writer/performer Prashant Prakash, the company further expanded into Crow Film in 2022, and Crow Records in 2024. Crow’s core team is composed of dreamers, designers, and artists who bring extraordinary content, powerful design, and originality of form to every artwork they create.

Over the years we have been privileged to have received the invaluable support of patrons and organisations such as Feroz and Mohit Gujral, The Gujral Foundation, Bharat Sikka, V.  Nayantara Kotian
Boss Lady


Nayantara is a world-builder, director, and designer working across the mediums of performance and film. She is a film graduate of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, and has a Masters in Performance Design & Practice from Central Saint Martins, London. Her films have won multiple awards worldwide and she has been artist-in-residence at the Common Room Foundation, India 2019 and the Akademie Schloss Solitude, Germany 2016, participant director at the Berlinale Talent Campus, Germany 2008, and was awarded the Charles Wallace India Trust Arts Scholarship in  2013-14. She has been an educator since 2019 and teaches World-building and Speculative Futures at design schools across India.






 Prashant Prakash
Head of Dreaming



Prashant is an English Literature graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Bombay, and has been working in the performing arts since 2006, primarily as an actor and writer. He has also acted in a number of Indian and international feature films. His 2009 play The Skeleton Woman, co-written with Kalki Koechlin, won the Hindu MetroPlus Playwright award of that year and was subsequently published by Penguin. In 2016, he was artist-in-residence at the Akademie Schloss Solitude, Germany, and was also on the Forbes India 30 Under 30 list of the same year.
